Senior Scientist I, Epidemiology & Public Health

About the role

The A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential (IHDP) is seeking a Senior Scientist I to lead research on adolescent health and wellbeing. You will translate scientific findings into actionable insights for the community and policy makers, strengthening Singapore's public health landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and interpret research findings on adolescent health to the wider community.
• Present evidence‑based results to policy makers and support policy development.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Singapore’s health, education, and social sectors.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Health Sciences, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of post‑doctoral research experience.
• Proven experience working with policy makers and a track record of influencing policy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., SPSS).
