Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Renesas is seeking a versatile Senior Software Engineer to design and develop desktop and cloud‑based tools for its microcontroller portfolio. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into high‑quality, maintainable code.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, produce design documents, and implement source code.
• Develop and execute test specifications to ensure software quality.
• Provide technical support, training, and documentation for microcomputer applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust embedded solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Typescript and Python.
• Familiarity with web front‑end development and object‑oriented design patterns.
• Passion for writing clean, well‑architected code.
• Self‑motivated team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
