Tax Specialist (EU and US focused)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Specialist with a focus on EU and US markets to join a fast‑growing global mobile gaming leader. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s international tax strategy while working with top‑tier international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all tax matters, including GST, corporate tax filings and tax planning for EU and US jurisdictions.
• Provide strategic tax advice to optimise the organisation’s tax position.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and maintain relationships with tax authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address tax‑related queries and provide guidance.
• Identify and mitigate potential tax risks in line with global tax policies.
• Support tax audits and manage documentation to meet statutory requirements.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience.
• Background in Big 4 or commercial environments with regional, hybrid scope exposure.
• Strong technical application of tax principles.
• Effective business partnering skills with external tax agents.
• Excellent communication and written skills for liaising with Shanghai HQ stakeholders.
