Architect – Red Hat Consulting

About the role

Red Hat Consulting is seeking an experienced Architect to support the ASEAN region from Singapore. You will drive adoption of Red Hat solutions across enterprise, government and service‑provider customers, shaping architecture designs and ensuring successful delivery of complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement modern platform architectures using Red Hat OpenShift, OpenStack, RHEL, Pacemaker and automation at scale.
• Lead discovery, analysis and design workshops that influence customer architecture decisions.
• Stay hands‑on with prototyping, development and agile iterative delivery.
• Provide strategic business recommendations and guide project direction toward business goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor to both Red Hat technical resources and customer teams.
• Support technical pre‑sales activities, workshops and proofs of concept with a value‑first approach.
• Define best practices for platform deployment, hardening, observability, monitoring, alerting, capacity management, scalability, resiliency and security operations.
• Create reusable reference architectures, delivery models and mentor others in their application.
• Contribute to consulting offerings, frameworks and capability playbooks.
• Accelerate collaboration across stakeholders and project teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in consulting and architecture roles.
• Hands‑on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift and OpenStack platforms.
• Deep knowledge of managing multiple Kubernetes clusters across multi‑cloud environments.
• Proven ability to operationalize Red Hat OpenShift using Service Mesh, GitOps and related technologies.
• Strong business acumen to make strategic recommendations and influence project outcomes.
