Director – Contract Logistics Portfolio

About the role

The Director will provide overarching strategic vision and operational governance for a large, multi‑site contract logistics portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, the role mentors General Managers and partners with Commercial, Business Development and Solution Design teams to drive growth and ensure flawless implementation of mega‑accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute long‑term organisational design and workforce strategy to maintain agility and leadership bench strength.
• Lead regional or country‑level strategic initiatives, including ESG sustainability programmes.
• Own the consolidated P&L, financial forecasting and margin expansion across all sites.
• Chair executive steering committee meetings and act as senior escalation point for global and regional client sponsors.
• Strategise space yield, infrastructure investments and CAPEX requests for automation and facility upgrades.
• Drive cross‑functional transformation by aligning operations, engineering, IT and HR to improve service delivery and reduce attrition.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, multi‑site logistics operations.
• Strong financial acumen with responsibility for P&L and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor senior managers and build high‑performing teams.
• Experience managing ESG or sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management with global and regional executives.
