Key Account Manager – Ocean Division

About the role

As a Key Account Manager for the Ocean Division, you will be based in Singapore and own the relationship with designated marine customers. Reporting to the Regional Aftersales Manager, you will drive profitable growth by developing and executing long‑term account strategies that align with Alfa Laval’s South East Asia sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales, negotiation and contract monitoring for assigned marine key accounts.
• Develop and execute detailed Key Account Plans based on market and customer analysis.
• Identify and capture business opportunities using Alfa Laval sales tools.
• Understand customer processes and influence decision‑making to promote Alfa Laval solutions.
• Provide technical support for installed equipment and propose performance‑enhancing solutions.
• Maintain clear communication throughout the sales cycle to ensure a superior customer experience.
• Coordinate internally with Business Unit, sales managers and other teams to deliver aligned solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of key‑account development and management experience.
• At least 5 years of technical sales experience in the marine industry.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
