About the role

The Manager, Holistic Development and International Immersion leads the design and delivery of programmes that enhance the overall educational experience of SCIS students. This role blends student development initiatives with the planning and execution of overseas immersion programmes, ensuring alignment with the college’s vision of graduates grounded in Islamic values and professional competence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement frameworks that support intellectual, spiritual, and personal growth across interdisciplinary Islamic studies programmes.
• Collaborate with faculty and partner universities to integrate curriculum content that nurtures both academic excellence and character development.
• Coordinate enrichment activities such as joint courses, guest lectures, and collaborative seminars.
• Monitor student progress holistically and connect students with academic, pastoral, or developmental resources as needed.
• Plan, organise, and execute overseas immersion programmes, including itinerary design, logistical coordination, and compliance management.
• Facilitate pre‑departure briefings and post‑immersion reflections to assess learning outcomes.
• Manage programme budgets, reporting, and engagement with relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing educational or student development programmes.
• Familiarity with Islamic studies or similar interdisciplinary academic environments.
• Experience coordinating international partnerships and immersion experiences.
• Strong organisational, budgeting, and reporting skills.
