QA Technician

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a QA Technician to support quality, environmental, and health standards across its manufacturing operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer‑specific requirements while assisting the QA Engineer/Manager in daily inspection activities.

Key responsibilities

• Verify inspection plans against drawing specifications and report discrepancies.
• Maintain completeness and accuracy of IQA inspection documents, reports, and records.
• Update SAP result recordings and usage decisions, and verify inspection reports.
• Respond to email queries, coordinate with section leaders, customer quality, and process engineers.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of measuring equipment.
• Train new technicians/inspectors and maintain quality records per customer requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding part quality and documentation issues.

Required profile

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably optics or precision machining.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of documentation practices and quality system regulations (ISO 9001, AS9100D, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
