Remote Mechanical Engineer – Contract (3–4 weeks)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support cutting‑edge AI research labs on a short‑term, remote contract. You will apply your mechanical expertise to solve real engineering challenges that enable advanced machine‑learning systems.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and solve mechanical engineering issues to support AI lab research.
• Create tasks and deliverables for common requests within the mechanical domain.
• Contribute expertise to advance machine learning systems.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance research infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• PhD or at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling.
• Immediate availability.
