Senior Accountant – Contract

About the role

HMH is seeking a Senior Accountant on a contract basis to manage the full set of accounts for one legal entity. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting in a fast‑moving, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts including AR, AP, GL, bank and month‑end closing.
• Prepare month‑end schedules, analyse trial balance data and highlight irregularities.
• Execute bank reconciliations, balance‑sheet reconciliations and monthly accruals.
• Validate parked and manual invoices before journalisation.
• Process AP payments, staff claims and non‑PO invoice coding.
• Reconcile supplier statements and address customer billing queries.
• Monitor cash balances, perform fund transfers and update weekly cash‑flow forecasts.
• Create sales orders, issue AR invoices and support GST filing and audit activities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accounting professional with experience in full‑set accounting.
• Strong analytical skills to compare actuals with forecasts and detect errors.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with shared services and external suppliers.
• Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of local GST regulations.

• Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processing.
