Associate Principal Specialist – Payment Platforms & Enabler Tech

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Principal Specialist to lead the design and implementation of payment platform and enabler technologies within our bank. The role will shape the organization’s data strategy, ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, and drive reusable architecture patterns across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an overall data strategy, including data source identification, model design, and information flow management.
• Define policies, procedures, models, standards and technologies for data collection, storage and retrieval.
• Provide business and technology architecture design and alignment for programs and projects within the bank.
• Translate high‑level business transformation strategies into data, application and technical architecture designs that comply with enterprise standards.
• Design and standardise reusable architecture patterns for the identified business domain at group and country level.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to resolve solution issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure successful hand‑over of solutions to technical teams and verify that implementations meet customer requirements.
• Contribute feedback to improve enterprise architecture standards, methodologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application management, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks to meet established deadlines.
• Proactive, results‑driven and capable of working independently.
