Casual Academic Talent Pool – Accounting, Audit & Tax Lecturer

About the role

A casual lecturer or tutor in the School of Accounting, Auditing & Taxation will deliver high‑quality teaching, marking and student consultation for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The role also includes administrative support for students and participation in course meetings and professional development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and workshops in accounting, auditing and tax subjects.
• Mark assessments and provide timely feedback to students.
• Offer student consultation and support throughout the semester.
• Perform administrative duties related to course delivery and student services.
• Attend course meetings and engage in training or workshops as required.

Required profile

• Proven ability to teach undergraduate or postgraduate accounting or taxation courses.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Relevant degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) in Accounting, Taxation or a dual degree with specialization.
• CPA or CA ANZ qualification desirable.
• Professional experience in accounting, taxation or finance.
• Teaching experience in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Auditing, Business Taxation or Tax Policy.
