Full Stack Software Engineer – Foundry R&D

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Foundry R&D team in Singapore. You will help drive innovation in payments by building scalable, high‑quality software solutions and exploring emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver full‑stack applications using Java Spring Boot, microservices, and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners, researchers, and engineers across geographies in an agile environment.
• Prototype innovative solutions, pilots, and MVPs that push the boundaries of payment and commerce.
• Investigate emerging AI/ML and Generative AI platforms and assess their impact on the business.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an agile team delivering software.
• Strong background in Java Spring Boot, microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Full‑stack exposure to front‑end technologies such as React or Angular.
• Passion for innovation, a growth mindset, and excellent communication skills.
