Housekeeping Runner

About the role

The Housekeeping Runner supports the guest experience by delivering requested items to rooms quickly and professionally. Working within Marriott’s hospitality standards, you will ensure guests receive the amenities they need while maintaining a clean and courteous presence.

Key responsibilities

• Place roll‑away beds, cribs, refrigerators, extra towels, bathrobes, and toiletries in guest rooms.
• Deliver messages, mail, packages, flowers, and other guest items promptly.
• Assist with food, beverage, and amenity orders, assembling and delivering them as required.
• Follow all company policies, report safety concerns, and maintain a clean, professional uniform.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.
• Read and verify information on labels, tickets, and small print.
• Inspect tools and equipment for defects and report issues.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an entire shift.
• Physical capacity to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Comfort moving through narrow, confined, elevated spaces, stairs, and service ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead, bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, teamwork, and quality‑assurance standards.
