Junior Medical Technologist, Neurology Diagnostic Lab

About the role

The Neurology Diagnostic Lab is seeking a Junior Medical Technologist to deliver patient‑focused laboratory services. This entry‑level position supports doctors by performing neurophysiological and neurosonographic diagnostic tests and ensuring timely, accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide seamless patient services.
• Conduct neurophysiological and neurosonographic diagnostic tests as ordered.
• Prepare preliminary test reports, record results in the laboratory information system, and forward reports to the responsible doctor for verification.
• Maintain proper filing, stock levels, and consumable usage.
• Calibrate, maintain, and document service records for laboratory equipment.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and respond to patient and telephone inquiries.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Diploma in Medical Science or Biotechnology.
• 1–2 years of related clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Competent computer literacy.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
