Merchandiser – Contract Role

About the role

As a Merchandiser in the Merchandising Department, you will support buying and merchandising activities across Southeast Asia and Australia, collaborating with global headquarters and local retail networks.

Key responsibilities

• Generate reports and provide business analysis on category performance.
• Develop and execute action plans to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, CRM, PR, Retail and Stores to drive sales.
• Provide information to retail teams to optimise sales performance.
• Work with in‑store VM specialists to maximise visual merchandising opportunities in line with global guidelines.
• Conduct competitor analysis on pricing and products.
• Coordinate with supply chain to ensure product availability and maximise sell‑through.
• Participate in seasonal buying sessions, delivering final buys and revisions with the Paris team.
• Represent SEA‑O business needs to the Paris team, ensuring clear communication of market requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of merchandising experience.
• Passion for CELINE collections.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
• Customer‑focused with ability to build relationships.
• Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven and urgent.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and rigorous work ethic.
• Team player with positive service attitude.

Required skills
