Platforms Engineer, MLOps

About the role

AI Singapore’s Platforms Engineering Group is looking for a Platforms Engineer specializing in MLOps. You will help build and operate modern infrastructure that enables large‑scale machine learning and deep learning workloads across AI Singapore programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain the platform and tooling stack that empowers AI engineers.
• Act as the liaison between Platforms Engineering and AI project teams, ensuring appropriate ML tooling, infrastructure, and CI/CD processes.
• Develop and implement MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, model monitoring and versioning.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers and other stakeholders to align ML solutions with operational goals.
• Build and maintain resilient, secure, high‑performing production infrastructure using infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Document and investigate system issues, develop automation tools, and drive technical decisions to completion.
• Mentor AISG Apprentices and contribute to the MLOps curriculum for the AI Apprenticeship Programme.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering or infrastructure role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Rust, or JavaScript/TypeScript (Python and TypeScript preferred).
• Strong experience administering Linux systems.
• Hands‑on experience with an automation tool (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
