Research Associate – Safe and Robust AI

About the role

NTU's College of Computing and Data Science is seeking a Research Associate to advance cutting‑edge projects in Safe and Robust AI, Generative AI, and advanced optimization techniques. The role involves hands‑on experimentation, data collection, and dissemination of findings within a vibrant academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and curate relevant datasets for AI research projects.
• Design, run, and analyse experiments to answer project‑specific research questions.
• Present research outcomes at scientific meetings and prepare reports or publications.

Required profile

• Preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative research and exhibit leadership qualities.
• Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing research environment.
