Secondary EAL Teacher – Maternity Cover

About the role

The Australian International School is seeking a Secondary English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher to cover a maternity leave from 16 July 2026 to 21 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver EAL instruction to secondary students.

Required profile

• Minimum four‑year recognised teaching qualification (Bachelor’s degree plus Postgraduate Teaching Diploma or Bachelor of Education).
• At least three years full‑time teaching experience in a recognised educational institution.
• Experience with IBDP, IGCSE or HSC programmes preferred.
• Experience in an international school environment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the wider school community.
