Senior Platform Engineer – Kubernetes, Rancher & NeuVector

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operation of our Kubernetes‑based infrastructure. The role focuses on building secure, scalable platforms using Rancher and NeuVector across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage production and non‑production Kubernetes clusters with Rancher.
• Integrate NeuVector for runtime container security, policy enforcement, and vulnerability management.
• Automate platform provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams to define and enforce platform policies.
• Implement observability solutions (monitoring, logging, alerting) and maintain operational dashboards.
• Support development and DevOps teams with reliable platform services.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Optionally contribute to hyper‑converged infrastructure operations using Harvester.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes (v1.20+) and Rancher.
• Deep knowledge of container security best practices and experience with NeuVector.
• Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Solid Linux administration, networking, and shell‑scripting skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, ELK, Loki).
