Senior Technical SEO & AI Content Strategist (Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Technical SEO & AI Content Strategist to work part‑time on a freelance basis. You will lead SEO strategy, execute technical improvements, and oversee AI‑assisted content production for one of our global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Write and optimise high‑quality SEO articles using AI tools while ensuring strong human editorial oversight.
• Develop SEO strategies focused on topical authority, rankings and organic traffic growth.
• Perform keyword research, topic clustering, competitor analysis and search‑intent mapping.
• Optimise on‑page elements: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, schema markup, content structure and image optimisation.
• Conduct deep technical SEO audits and implement fixes for site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, structured data, redirects, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, JavaScript SEO and broken links.
• Work directly within CMS platforms to apply technical SEO changes.
• Monitor performance using SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, SurferSEO, PageSpeed Insights and other advanced tools.
• Continuously update content to improve rankings, CTR and organic traffic.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of hands‑on SEO experience, having navigated multiple Google algorithm updates.
• Deep technical SEO expertise and the ability to implement fixes directly.
• Proficiency with AI content generation tools and strong editorial judgement.
• Availability for daytime client meetings and collaboration.
• Fully remote work setup.
