Tender Engineer – Marine & Oil & Gas

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Tender Engineer to join our Commercial team and support business growth in the Marine and Oil & Gas sectors. You will be responsible for preparing tender documents, responding to client queries, and developing technical proposals while ensuring compliance with company branding and QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Manager with sales and business development activities.
• Prepare pre‑qualification documents and technical specifications for ROV and survey services.
• Develop comprehensive technical proposals and respond to client clarification requests.
• Prepare RFQs based on client requirements and support commercial proposal preparation.
• Attend pre‑bid meetings, tender openings, and act as company representative.
• Review bid documents, hand over project requirements to Operations/Project teams, and participate in contract negotiations.
• Contribute ideas for branding at exhibitions, support website updates, newsletters, and maintain company databases.
• Follow all QHSE procedures, report hazards, and participate in safety programs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• 1‑2 years of experience in the Marine and/or Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in tendering, proposal development, or commercial support.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
