Accountant – Ticketing & Retail Finance (2‑year renewable contract)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage finance operations for ticketing and retail activities. The role involves handling reconciliations, payment‑terminal management, financial reporting and supporting ERP implementation while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all finance‑related matters for ticketing and retail, including refunds, adjustments, voids, reversals and e‑wallet top‑ups.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of ticketing and retail collections and ensure accurate transaction recording in accounting systems.
• Partner with operations and retail teams to provide finance operational reporting.
• Coordinate application, setup, replacement and return of payment terminals, maintain inventory, liaise with banks and vendors, and troubleshoot terminal issues.
• Prepare finance reports, operational summaries and accounting journals in the ERP system.
• Maintain documentation for finance and tax records, assist with audits, corporate tax schedules and liaison with external tax agents.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives, internal controls and the rollout of a new ERP system.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with corporate tax exposure.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders across operations, shared services and finance.
• Experience in retail, ticketing, POS systems or payment operations is an advantage.
• Hospitality or tourism industry experience is a plus.
• Strong independent work ethic, multitasking ability and deadline orientation.
