Accounting Specialist – General Ledger & Project Accounting

About the role

ABS is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support its General Ledger and Project Accounting functions across a regional portfolio of 13 countries. The role involves ensuring accurate month‑end processing, maintaining reconciliations, and assisting with project accounting clean‑up initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare recurring journal entries for the month for the region’s 13 countries.
• Perform account reconciliations for each country within the region.
• Assist in the Project Accounting clean‑up effort to improve data integrity.

Required profile

• Diploma in accountancy or business administration.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, high ethical standards, and a sense of responsibility.
• Fast learner, collaborative team player.
• Willingness to become familiar with ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
