About the role
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a skilled Technician to perform repair and inspection of aircraft engine components in a dedicated cell environment. The role involves applying approved technical data and standard work processes while supporting production efficiency and continuous skill development.
Key responsibilities
- Execute standard repair and inspection procedures for aircraft engine parts.
- Perform cross‑functional tasks in areas such as sheet metal, welding, machining, bonding, fiberglass, plasma spray, or painting.
- Support workshop setup, housekeeping, and production linearity initiatives.
- Maintain and manage tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Document all repair work accurately, including transactions in SAP/G8.
- Participate in skills training to develop a multi‑skilled workforce.
- Carry out any additional duties as assigned.
Required profile
- NITEC or equivalent qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with at least one of the following: sheet metal, welding, machining, bonding, fiberglass, plasma spray, or painting.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn with a growth mindset.
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts and to commit to overtime when required.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
