Community Engagement Manager

About the role

As a Community Engagement Manager you will design and deliver stakeholder engagement initiatives for Total Defence, National Education and Support for Defence, aiming to strengthen Singaporeans’ commitment to national security and the nation.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop creative community engagement approaches and programmes.
• Plan, implement and monitor engagement activities and associated publicity efforts.
• Collaborate with public agencies, community partners and grassroots leaders.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as pre‑enlistees, National Cadet Corps, educators, civil servants and uniformed groups.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programmes and adjust strategies as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Mass Communication, Arts or Social Sciences.
• At least one year of experience in public relations, marketing or events management (candidates without experience may also apply).
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Creative mindset and ability to develop innovative engagement concepts.
