Compliance, Risk Management & Paralegal Lead

About the role

OCTAVE Capital is seeking a proactive professional to lead its compliance, regulatory and paralegal functions. You will work closely with the investment team, providing legal and compliance support throughout the investment lifecycle and ensuring adherence to Singapore’s regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate review, finalisation and execution of legal documents such as investment agreements, SPA/SHA term sheets, side letters, service agreements, vendor contracts and NDAs.
• Provide paralegal and documentation support for transaction entry, portfolio management and exit, in partnership with external counsel.
• Support fundraising activities, including preparation of PPMs, LP agreements and side letters.
• Assist in reviewing deal structures for regulatory, compliance and fiduciary considerations.
• Act as Compliance Officer and primary liaison with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), leading the firm’s compliance function.
• Manage legal documentation workflows and advise internal stakeholders on regulatory and risk matters.
