Customer Onboarding Strategist – ANZ Market

About the role

Google is looking for a Customer Onboarding Strategist to drive the success of new advertisers in the Australia and New Zealand market. You will combine product knowledge, consultative selling, and account management to help customers launch and grow their digital advertising campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a new customer portfolio for the first six months to ensure long‑term success.
• Conduct consultative sales activities, including upselling and pitching Google advertising solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with Australian and New Zealand clients, uncovering business needs and translating them into effective advertising strategies.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with acquisition, product, program, and same‑store teams.
• Proactively reach out to prospects through cold calling and outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media, or marketing.
• Preferred 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or management consulting.
• At least 3 years of experience working with AU/NZ media agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to overcome market‑specific challenges in client contactability and product sales.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to Australian clients.
• Current right to work in Singapore without visa sponsorship.
