Cybersecurity Engineer (Operational Technology)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cybersecurity Engineer specialized in Operational Technology to safeguard our network, systems, and data. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure a robust security posture across our OT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions for OT networks and systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify and remediate risks.
• Monitor security events, analyse logs, investigate threats, and apply mitigation strategies.
• Develop, enforce, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Stay current with emerging cyber threats, trends, and technologies.
• Manage and monitor security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Provide training and awareness programs on cybersecurity best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Hands‑on experience with security tools like SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing environment is a plus.
