Data Center Operations Technician

About the role

The Data Center Operations Technician will support day‑to‑day operations of a high‑availability data centre in Kallang. You will work on physical infrastructure, monitor environmental conditions and ensure equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks such as racking, stacking, cabling and hardware replacement.
• Monitor and manage temperature, humidity and airflow to maintain optimal conditions.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to support tickets for hardware and network issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory, cabling layouts and equipment tracking records.
• Collaborate with network and systems teams on upgrades, migrations and incident resolution.
• Follow security protocols, safety standards and company policies.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotation and on‑call support as required.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and facility work.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data centre operations.
• Degree in a computer‑related field.
• Strong communication skills, responsible, able to work under pressure and a good team player.
