Finance & Tax Product Manager (12‑month contract)

About the role

Temasek is looking for a Finance & Tax Product Manager to lead the implementation, delivery and ongoing operation of its finance and tax systems. The role sits within the Technology team and works closely with the Finance function to modernise processes using Workday and AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Spearhead implementation, delivery and maintenance of finance and tax systems and related projects.
• Partner with Finance to review and optimise processes leveraging Workday, AI/ML and other automation tools.
• Manage day‑to‑day system health, ensuring availability, reliability and SLA compliance.
• Lead roll‑outs of new features, modules and AI‑powered capabilities such as chatbots and document‑intelligence tools, overseeing integration, UAT and end‑user training.
• Coordinate with external vendors, ensuring quality, data‑privacy, security and timely issue resolution.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams in an agile environment.
• Identify improvement opportunities and align business requirements with the existing architecture.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in IT project management with a strong focus on finance and tax domains.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale system implementations and managing BAU operations.
• Experience working with finance systems such as Workday and AI/ML solutions.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in an agile, cross‑functional team.
