International Sourcing Manager

About the role

The International Sourcing Manager is responsible for overseeing global sourcing, supply planning and import operations for fast‑moving consumer goods. The role ensures a reliable, compliant and cost‑effective flow of products from overseas suppliers to retail outlets, supporting category performance and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, expand and manage an overseas supplier network, lead negotiations and optimise total landed cost.
• Drive accurate demand forecasting and supply planning using sales data, trends and promotions; manage ordering, replenishment and inventory levels to minimise stock‑outs and excess stock.
• Oversee the full import lifecycle, coordinate shipments with logistics partners, ensure compliance with import licences, food‑safety regulations and manage import costs and financial reconciliation.
• Monitor market trends, identify innovation opportunities and represent the company at trade fairs and industry events.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in international sourcing, demand & supply planning and import operations, preferably within FMCG, retail or consumer goods.
• Proven track record of managing overseas suppliers and end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
