Learning Innovations Manager – Centre for Innovation in Learning

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) is seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Learning Innovations Manager to lead its Centre for Innovation in Learning. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Head, the manager will drive data‑driven innovations, integrate emerging technologies, and develop learning analytics solutions that enhance teaching and personalised student learning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and set clear, achievable goals for the Learning Innovations team.
• Manage resources, tools, and software to integrate learning‑analytics dashboards and emerging technologies.
• Oversee team performance, assign tasks, offer guidance, and develop skills aligned with institutional objectives.
• Communicate project outcomes and data‑driven innovations to IN‑Learning management through comprehensive reports.
• Lead the design and integration of evidence‑based frameworks, teacher‑ and student‑facing analytics dashboards.
• Analyse teaching and learning datasets to uncover insights and recommend continuous improvements.
• Present findings and innovative solutions to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with best educational practices.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and facilitation abilities, especially in guiding faculty to use learning analytics.
• Deep understanding of the higher‑education landscape and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
