Legal Executive – In‑House Role

About the role

This newly created position sits within a manufacturing firm with a strong regional footprint. Reporting to the Legal Director, you will gain broad exposure to corporate matters, compliance, intellectual property and governance in a dynamic business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and manage contract templates such as NDAs, service agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Support the contract lifecycle administration and maintain efficient legal processes and systems.
• Assist with regulatory compliance, legal due diligence, audits and litigation management.
• Work with external counsel on IP matters, including preparation and filing of patent and trademark applications.
• Provide support for general corporate and governance matters across the organisation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a Legal Executive or Paralegal in an in‑house legal team or law firm.
• Demonstrated experience in contract management and exposure to corporate and commercial legal matters.
• Diploma in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies or a related discipline (preferred).
• Comfortable reviewing Mandarin‑language documents and communicating with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
