Policy & Research Intern – Workforce 4.0

About the role

Temasek’s Workforce 4.0 team is looking for a Policy & Research Intern to support the development of workforce‑resilience strategies. You will work on horizon‑scanning emerging trends, shaping proposals, and helping to organise high‑impact stakeholder events.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the conceptualisation and validation of workforce resilience proposals.
• Assist in developing buy‑in strategies and support implementation of approved ideas.
• Conduct horizon scans of emerging workforce‑related trends, technologies and regulations, using AI tools where appropriate.
• Support planning, organisation and management of workforce‑related initiatives, including engagement platforms and executive briefing sessions.
• Help develop content and manage stakeholders for the annual Temasek Tripartite Conversations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with interest in future of work, AI and megatrends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business, government and labour stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
