Production Technician – 12‑Hour Shift

About the role

Air Liquide Singapore is seeking a Production Technician to work a 12‑hour rotating shift in its Primary Production plant. You will ensure continuous supply of nitrogen and other gases by monitoring plant equipment, performing maintenance, and supporting operational projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform industrial operations in the Primary Production plant following standard operating and maintenance procedures.
• Monitor nitrogen generator plants through routine logging, equipment checks, and contract compliance.
• Troubleshoot system anomalies, carry out preventive maintenance, and manage planned or unplanned shutdowns and start‑ups.
• Handle bulk gas inventory, including ordering, receiving, and pallet or drum change‑outs.
• Follow company HSE guidelines, the 12 Life‑Saving Rules, and act as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Maintain positive customer relationships by managing operational needs and resolving complaints.
• Support project teams during installation, commissioning, and operation of new gas plants.
• Participate in internal and external training to continuously upgrade technical competencies.

Required profile

• ITE/NITEC/Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year hands‑on experience in a chemical processing or process plant environment.
• Strong understanding of personal and process safety standards in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule.
