NTU’s College of Computing and Data Science is seeking a Research Engineer II to join its cutting‑edge research team. The role focuses on formulating research problems, developing innovative solutions, and translating findings into real‑world applications such as cyber‑security compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate research problems and devise effective solutions.
• Conduct cutting‑edge research and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Collaborate with team members and lead scientific projects.
• Assist in deploying advanced solutions to practical applications, including cyber‑security compliance.

Required profile

• Preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a strong team player.
• Excellent teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge relevant to the project domain.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative research and formulate hypotheses.
• Capability to design and implement experimental plans and methods.
• High‑level expertise in required experimental or modelling techniques.
• Ability to initiate multidisciplinary collaborations and report project progress.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
