Research Fellow – Computer Engineering / Computer Science

About the role

NTU Singapore’s College of Computing and Data Science is seeking a Research Fellow to lead cutting‑edge projects in computer engineering, computer science, or electronics engineering. The role involves formulating research problems, developing innovative solutions, and translating findings into real‑world applications such as cyber‑security compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define research problems and design effective experimental plans.
• Conduct high‑impact research and contribute to peer‑reviewed publications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and guide junior researchers.
• Deploy advanced solutions to practical settings, including cyber‑security compliance.
• Monitor project progress, report outcomes, and initiate collaborative initiatives.

Required profile

• Preferably a PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive, and a strong team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative research and formulate hypotheses.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
