Senior Lecturer / Lecturer (Law)

About the role

The Senior Lecturer/Lecturer will prepare industry‑ready legal professionals by delivering law education that blends legal, business, and digital competencies. The role supports Singapore’s legal, corporate, compliance, and regulatory sectors through applied teaching and curriculum design.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate learning for diploma (PET) and part‑time adult (CET) students across subjects such as Contract & Commercial Law, Compliance, Risk & Governance, Intellectual Property, Legal Technology, and Criminal Law.
• Design and deliver practice‑oriented learning experiences, including legal research, document drafting, case management, and stakeholder communication.
• Develop curricula and workshops that integrate legal principles with business applications and embed digital/legal‑tech tools.
• Partner with law firms, corporate legal teams, compliance units, enforcement agencies, and legal‑tech providers to ensure curricula stay current and to create internship and work‑integrated learning opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that shift the programme toward a business‑integrated legal capability, supporting cross‑disciplinary projects within the Business School.

Required profile

• Law degree with exposure to commercial law, criminal law, intellectual property, compliance or related fields.
• Professional experience in legal practice, paralegal work, compliance, enforcement, regulatory or corporate environments, with familiarity with Singapore’s legal framework.
• Ability to apply legal knowledge in business contexts and to mentor students in applied projects and case‑based learning.
