Senior SEO Specialist (Part‑Time / Freelance)

About the role

Kuubiik is seeking a highly experienced Senior SEO Specialist to work part‑time on a freelance basis for one of its global clients. You will lead the SEO strategy, execute technical improvements, and oversee AI‑assisted content production to drive organic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO strategies focused on topical authority, rankings and traffic growth.
• Conduct keyword research, topic clustering, competitor analysis and search‑intent mapping.
• Write and optimise high‑quality SEO articles using AI tools while ensuring strong human editing.
• Perform on‑page optimisation including titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, schema markup and image optimisation.
• Run deep technical SEO audits and fix issues related to site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, redirects, canonicalisation, XML sitemaps and JavaScript rendering.
• Work directly within CMS platforms to implement technical fixes and improve site architecture.
• Monitor performance with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, SurferSEO and PageSpeed Insights.
• Update and improve existing content to increase rankings, click‑through rates and organic traffic.
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates, AI search trends and best‑practice SEO techniques.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to build scalable SEO processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on SEO experience, including multiple Google algorithm updates.
• Proven ability to lead technical SEO projects and deliver measurable results.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using advanced SEO tools.
• Excellent written communication and ability to edit AI‑generated content.
• Availability during daytime hours for client meetings and collaboration.
