Senior Tech Governance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Tech Governance Specialist to lead proactive governance initiatives across Grab’s technology landscape. Reporting to the Head of Governance, you will work closely with engineering, risk, and compliance teams to ensure robust controls, regulatory compliance and AI‑specific risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Technology Governance Framework, including policies, standards and guidelines.
• Assess technology and AI‑related risks, define and implement controls to mitigate them.
• Specify product requirements for control implementation and collaborate with tech teams to enforce them.
• Monitor, report and continuously improve the effectiveness of governance controls.
• Integrate AI governance into existing GRC processes and leverage AI‑driven tools for automated compliance checks and evidence collection.
• Own technology controls and act as the primary audit subject for SOX audits and regulatory inspections.
• Provide governance guidance and training across the organisation and stay abreast of emerging technology trends and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Risk Management or a related field.
• 5‑6 years of experience in IT governance, risk management or compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with governance frameworks such as COBIT and ITIL.
• Proven track record of implementing controls and managing audits (e.g., SOX).
