SEO Specialist

About the role

First Page Digital is seeking an analytical SEO Specialist to drive organic traffic and improve keyword rankings for its clients across APAC and Australasia. The role combines strategic research, technical optimisation and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Research and recommend high‑impact SEO keywords to boost organic traffic and ROI.
• Conduct competitive analysis using SEO tools and identify optimal keyword targets.
• Apply SEO best practices for on‑page optimisation, internal linking, HTML sitemaps and site architecture.
• Perform technical audits, monitor crawling/indexing issues, and advise on duplicate content and page‑load speed.
• Analyse backlinks, identify broken links or outdated redirects, and develop outreach link‑building campaigns.
• Prepare fortnightly and monthly SEO performance reports for clients.
• Collaborate with SEO technicians, content writers, campaign managers, paid‑media and sales teams.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and self‑driven with a passion for staying up‑to‑date on SEO trends.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret keyword metrics and KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical recommendations to clients.
