Tax Manager – Financial Services

About the role

This position offers a senior tax professional the chance to shape and expand a dedicated financial services tax practice. You will lead advisory and compliance work for a portfolio of corporate and individual clients across banking, insurance, payments, wealth and asset management, and family offices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate corporate tax, personal tax and GST compliance and advisory engagements for financial services clients.
• Design and implement fund management structures for regional client investments.
• Develop budgets, determine resource requirements and oversee engagement delivery.
• Maintain continuous client interaction, manage expectations and ensure high‑quality service.
• Oversee the compliance management process, forecast workload and delegate tasks.
• Coach, train and resolve staffing issues within the compliance team.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, draft proposals and build internal cross‑functional relationships.
• Participate in recruiting, knowledge sharing and ad‑hoc projects as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline; SCTP membership preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of business tax experience serving financial services clients.
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax policies for wealth and asset management.
• Excellent leadership, project management and analytical abilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English and a collaborative team mindset.
• Motivated to grow professionally within a dynamic environment.
