Accountant – Asia Markets

About the role

Join our finance team as an Accountant focused on Asia Markets. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will ensure statutory accounting and financial reporting are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver statutory accounting and reporting for assigned entities, adhering to local regulations and corporate policies.
• Support Record‑to‑Report and Procure‑to‑Pay processes, maintain complete books, and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations under US GAAP, Local GAAP, and tax rules.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, annual reports, and regulatory filings, coordinating with external advisors and authorities.
• Assist internal and external audits, ensuring timely delivery of required documentation.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to maintain ongoing compliance.
• Maintain strong accounting documentation, improve processes, and drive standardisation across the region.
• Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders on continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented accounting professional with solid experience in statutory reporting and compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and end‑to‑end finance processes.
• Experience in a multinational or professional‑services environment, with exposure to statutory audits and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive, organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
