Accounting Manager

About the role

Join Tencent's International Accounting Hub as an Accounting Manager, leading financial reporting and compliance across multiple regions. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end month and year‑end processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with IFRS and local GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, manage general ledger activities and maintain asset registers, treasury, intercompany and payroll transactions.
• Own financial controls for master data, balance‑sheet reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Produce financial reports, investigate variances and liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Support statutory reporting, board‑meeting preparations and compliance with local regulations.
• Provide technical accounting advice on new standards, acquisitions, capital and debt raising.
• Develop and maintain financial models, templates and reporting processes.
• Lead system and process improvement projects, including Business Intelligence and Hyperion Financial Management implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multinational corporations or top audit firms.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP financial disclosures.
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
