Client Relationship Associate – Private Banking Support

About the role

The Client Relationship Associate provides dedicated support to private banking clients, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and their documentation is kept up‑to‑date. Working closely with Relationship Managers, the associate helps maintain high levels of client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with questions and concerns regarding private banking products and services, delivering personalized service.
• Prepare and follow up on documentation for client meetings, including renewal of expired forms such as W‑8BEN, RPQ and VC forms.
• Attend face‑to‑face meetings with clients alongside Relationship Managers when required.
• Maintain and update client records, handling changes to addresses, identification documents and powers of attorney.
• Monitor client accounts for opportunities and risks, including loan due dates, corporate actions, credit violations and trade settlements.
• Ensure all client documentation meets regulatory standards for account opening, periodic reviews, loan applications and trade instructions.
• Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and audits, providing required documents and information.
• Support internal teams such as product specialists and operations to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and verify client documentation accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Relationship Managers and other bank departments.
• Proactive approach to monitoring client accounts and identifying potential issues.

Required skills

• Knowledge of private banking documentation (e.g., W‑8BEN, RPQ, VC forms).
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for client onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Familiarity with transaction monitoring, corporate actions, and trade settlement processes.
