Consolidation Accountant (Tuas)

About the role

This hands‑on regional finance position is based in Tuas and supports group consolidation, reporting and statutory compliance across several Asian markets. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to cross‑border, multi‑currency operations in a fast‑moving industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including balance sheet, P&L, trial balance and supporting schedules.
• Lead monthly group consolidation for multiple countries, performing intercompany eliminations and foreign‑currency translation.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis and KPI dashboards for stakeholders.
• Oversee cash‑flow reporting, forecasting and treasury‑related monitoring.
• Handle tax submissions such as GST and corporate tax computations.
• Coordinate external audits, internal reviews and annual stock‑take exercises.
• Drive process improvements and support ad‑hoc finance and business projects.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in a senior or regional finance role.
• Hands‑on experience with group consolidation and multi‑entity reporting.
• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and cross‑currency accounting.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and practical reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
