Controller – Financial Reporting & FP&A Lead

About the role

The Controller will lead the financial reporting and FP&A function for a UK portfolio of assets, while overseeing a reporting team based in Singapore and coordinating service providers across the UK and Europe. This senior position supports real‑estate acquisition, divestment, and group expansion initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and FP&A for the UK asset portfolio.
• Lead and develop a financial reporting team in Singapore.
• Manage service providers in the UK/Europe and coordinate statutory audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and controls.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for Board reporting.
• Provide technical accounting support for new M&A transactions.
• Coach team members and collaborate with Business Development and Legal teams.
• Support real‑estate acquisition, divestment, and group expansion projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with a professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in Big 4 audit firms and exposure to listed companies.
• Proven ability to design or strengthen internal controls.
• Hands‑on and supervisory experience with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
