Post Fixture Operator – Oil Tankers (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a Post Fixture Operator to manage end‑to‑end post‑fixture processes for oil tankers in Singapore. The role ensures accurate invoicing, timely collection of receivables and protection of the owner’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Bill freight, delivery bunkers and hire in advance of voyage completion.
• Monitor vessel schedules and payment due dates to secure timely hire and freight.
• Match treasury receipts against issued invoices and process broker commissions.
• Prepare treasury payment instructions for bareboat vessels.
• Coordinate with Operations, Chartering, Compliance and Accounts teams.
• Track receivables, send reminders and escalate overdue cases.
• Review charterer counters and prepare arguments to support the owner’s position.
• Apply Worldscale flat rates and charterparty terms to calculate freight and voyage‑related claims.
• Conduct voyage reviews and ensure claims are submitted within contractual time‑bars.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics or Accountancy.
• Knowledge of charter‑party terms and IMOS preferred.
• Prior experience in shipping operations or accounts.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
