Private Banking Investment Strategist – Singapore

About the role

The Investment Strategist will partner closely with Relationship Managers to design and deliver investment strategies and portfolio solutions for private banking clients in Singapore. This role focuses on aligning investment ideas with client objectives, risk tolerance, and the firm’s house views while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide investment advisory services to private banking clients, developing strategies that match their objectives and risk profiles.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers during client meetings to present house views, articulate investment ideas, and prepare investment proposals.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and generate product ideas as a subject‑matter expert, staying current on market developments.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal and external regulations and policies.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Banking.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in investment advisory or a related financial role.
• Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, alternatives, currencies and overall investment markets.
• Prior experience in private banking, preferably in an investment advisory capacity.
• Singaporean citizenship or Permanent Resident status preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg terminal.
